What is BodyTite and what are the target areas?
BodyTite is a slightly invasive procedure that uses Radio Frequency to eliminate excess fat and lift the skin. This heat-based procedure can target the arms, thighs, hips, and abdomen to achieve a toned body. Compared to traditional Liposuction, BodyTite is FDA-approved, scar-free, less traumatic, and only requires minimal recovery time. If you wish to achieve a youthful glow and firm skin without undergoing surgery, then this one’s for you.
How is BodyTite Performed?
First, local anesthesia is injected into the area where the incision will be done. However, some patients request mild sedation prior to treatment. This is followed by the insertion of a tiny instrument that is attached to the radio frequency machine. The instrument consists of a probe that is inserted beneath the skin and a wand that allows the radio frequency energy to surface above the skin. The probe dissolves the fats while the wand shrinks the skin allowing it to produce collagen. To remove the excess fats, the doctor suctions out the melted fats by inserting a small tube into the incision.
